Description
Punic colony until 650 BC, the island of Ibiza has also been visited by different civilisations: Phoenicians, Carthaginians, Romans, Vandals, Arabs and Catalans. The first port infrastructures date from 1616, since which time, they have undergone constant changes, most of all after 1950. However, the present-day infrastructures were installed during the last fifteen years.

With its great nightlife and leisure activities, as well as the medieval buildings in Dalt Vila with its labyrinth of twisting and turning streets, the port is physically integrated into the city's daily vitality, its life, and this gives it another feature: its tourist attraction. In addition to the commercial quays and passenger terminals, the port has a quay for berthing tourist cruisers of various length and two marinas with 600 and 400 moorings respectively.

A blend of the purest tradition with the most avant-garde trends in leisure, Ibiza and of course its port offer an impressive and exciting destination, guaranteed to stimulate admiration and passion.
